Digital camera Review: Excellent upgrade from original capacity card in HTC EVO Shift 4G

This card was installed as an upgrade the 2 GB card that shipped with an HTC EVO Shift 4G Android Phone
Not so long ago, 2 GB may have seemed voluminous storage capacity, especially for a *phone*. But with a 5 megapixel still/video camera and the ability to suck in a wide range of multimedia content (and use your phone to listen to your digital music), a 2 GB storage volume quickly fills up.
If you have a large digital music collection or are a prolific photographer/videographer/sound recorder, having the extra capacity lets you focus more on capturing or using your content, and worry less about data file space management.
Data cards tend to either work right way or not...this one worked immediately. The additional storage space was immediately recognized by the phone, and the phone's Android operating system files, settings and data (which I copied to the card prior to the install) were similarly recognized without missing a beat.
8 GB cards are very affordable right now, making a removable media storage upgrade for your smart phone about as expensive as a cup or two of your favorite designer coffee:-)

This tiny MicroSD card has huge storage capacity; I put it in my mobile phone and now can store more music than I have. Wonderful device.
Be sure to check that your device can handle these high-capacity devices (over 2GB), or that you can download the appropriate driver for it. Some devices cannot handle this card.

I put this in my T-Mobile G1 phone. It failed after a few days. Maybe due to user error or a failure of the card. Don't know which. Afterwards, I couldn't reformat the card successfully. Seems to be permanently broken.Digital camera Review: Fantastic Product for the Price

I purchased 2 of these for use with my and my wife's LG Dare cell phones. This product was easily recognized by the phones. The phone recognized 7.4 gb of space usable for storage on this card. The card is a class 2 card and came with an adaptor for use as a regular sized SD card. I had no problems with data transfer. In all, I gave this 5 stars for accuracy of description as well as the card functioning exactly as it should.Digital camera Review: Good

Seems to work just fine for a very low price. I'm allowing windows to use it as write cach on my old laptop.
