Digital camera reviews of SanDisk CF Type I/II ImageMate USB 2.0 Reader/Writer (Model SDDR-92-A15)

Digital camera Review: SanDist Reader/Writer
Summary: 3 Stars

I recently purchased a SanDisk CF Type I/II ImageMate
USB 2.0 Reader/Writer and while I think it very good
I do have a problem with it burying everything under
2 folders. Personally I just want to "grab 'n go" so
to speak and having to work my way down folders to get
to the actual pictures is a bit annoying. Otherwise,
I think this is an excellent tool.

Digital camera Review: Sandisk quality rocks
Summary: 5 Stars

Bought this to replace a stolen Sandisk CF reader. What can I say, they just work. Every time, everyplace. You can't go wrong. You need one buy one.

Digital camera Review: Solid performer
Summary: 4 Stars

This device has worked very effectively. I use a MAC, so the one-button transfer does not function. But the reader is immediately recognized by my MAC and it's an easy drag and copy of my photos to my hard drive. No complaints, would buy it again.

Digital camera Review: The best of it's kind
Summary: 5 Stars

No product comes close to its efficiency and convenience, and I've tried most of them. A real gem.

Digital camera Review: This product is a time bomb
Summary: 1 Stars

I was initially happy with this reader - it worked well for a year plus change. Until recently.

Worrisome: it started making a high-pitched sound when plugged in.

Bad: it stopped reading some (but not all) of my CF cards.

Worse: sometimes it would read files from the CF card, but the files would be corrupted when they got to my computer.

Totally unacceptable: sometimes, it would corrupt files on the CF card, just by trying to read them! This means that I now have images that were destroyed by this reader, just from trying to download them off of the card.

I'd recommend staying far, far away from this product.
