This is a nice little drive. I have been using it for about a month now and have no problems so far. I use it mainly for transporting music and word documents. No problems with formatting or installing the drivers or anything like that. The drive does feels kinda cheap, especially the sliding feature. Its not a big deal and is probably just my own opinion. I like not having to worry about losing a cap though. Great product overall and i would purchase another if necessary.Digital camera Review: Cruzer is a breeze to use

This SanDisk Cruzer 8GB works great. I noticed there were some reviews about it being difficult to open and close. I did not find it at all difficult and the little door that closes over the end really protects the usb connector when it's not in use.
It is a very convenient size and the neat little slip-in cover with fastener makes it simple to clip onto those mysterious loops that appear inside messenger bags, backpacks, etc.
SanDisk made the usb connector open out far enough that it doesn't take up much space side-to-side in the usb port lineup on my notebook. I've had a few cheap sticks that are too wide to fit.
I got this to use with a video transfer device because I needed the speed and the storage space and this comes thru with flying colors.

Works great although it is problematic with ejecting from the computer. I follow the directions and sometime it tells me upon next inserting into USB port that it was ejected wrong. I don't have any problems with my data. It is a little too light. The plastic is very cheap and gives no weight to the cruzer. This Sandisk item is great! The U3 feature makes traveling and working on different computers a breeze. The included software helps me use and manage my data. Other software can easily be added from various websites. I now want the 16gb version because carrying additional data to use with my U3 software makes it easier to get my work done!
