it's a shame that companies nowadays think just go and buy a new one, even if you have warranty, it's a hard fight you have ti deal with and at the end they wont give you a replacement.
Treat yourseal and buy Kingston instead.

I'm disappointed with the 8GB Cruzer Micro (SDCZ6-8192-A11.) The drive failed the very first time I used it. I contacted Sandisk and they confirmed I have a defective drive and advised me to exchange it. I decided to return it rather than exchange it for another seeing how it failed very quickly. I hope others have better experience.
I should note that I currently own the 4GB model of the same drive and it's been working well for a year now. My 4GB model came with a neckband, the 8GB did not.

1. Shipping was sooo very slow.
2. The item was a lousy cheap substitute for the durable one displayed on the Amazon page. The substitute was not what I wanted, they should have shipped the product they advertised.
3. Their return policy is iron-clad in their favor, and with their real slow shipping lower priced items are not worth sending back expecially if you count shipping cost and aggravation.
4. BEWARE of this seller, and PLEASE check their return policy.
5. This simple USB Thumb drive took over nine (9) days to arrive and it WAS NOT as shown on the Amazon page.
6. I will remember NEVER to order anything from Digital Media Source.

This product does what it is supposed to with no problems. Contrary to some reviews, the included software can be easily enabled or disabled. (I chose to keep it disabled since I don't need to carry software with me.) When flash drives started to appear on store shelves a few years ago, they tended to be tough little things that could work even if run over by a tank. Not anymore. This product feels flimsy and has a little ring that doesn't seem to have the strength to last a year with frequent use. For the moment, it does what it's suppose to do. Just make sure you have the material backed up somewhere in case of the drive disintegrating with frequent use or the little metal ring falls off and you lose it.
