Digital camera Review: A Great Little Flash Drive
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased this flash drive for my sister. She loves it. She works at home, and prior to using the flash drive, her computer crashed and she lost all her stored information. I sent her the flash drive, and now she stored everything on it. She said she would probably never use up all the space available on it. She is glad that I sent it to her.

Digital camera Review: A Valuable Little Tool
Summary: 5 Stars

The SanDisk Cruzer Micro flash drive is a 8 GB USB flash drive that will fit right in your pocket or wallet. It plugs into your USB port on your computer and you can transfer files between two computers. I have been able to transfer videos from one computer to another which enabled me to take the video home to work on. I like the fact that this little flash drive does not have a seperate cover. It just slides out and you plug it in, it lights up and there you go!

The first flash drive I bought a few years back worked good but was around $60. The SanDisk's price is more affordable and inexpensive for what it does. It is reliable and easy to use. You just copy the file onto the little drive and take it with you. It is little so I store it in a jar so that I don't lose it or break it. I have had mine for well over a year and use it all the time and highly recommend it.

Digital camera Review: A good bang for your $$$$$$$$
Summary: 5 Stars

My product arrived in excellent condition, well wrapped and in original package. It arrived on time, I love that it's password protected and after searching the net for several days, found merchant offered the lowest price. I will be buying another one, I definitely recommend this product.

Digital camera Review: A great drive
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this flashdrive as a way to carry my writing between computers as my own computer crashed and I am forced to use the library and friends systems. It has worked wonderfully and is so durable I couldn't believe it.

My sister tried to be nice and wash the bag that I carry back and forth while I was sleeping. She removed everything except the Cruzer (which was in a hidden pocket) and sent the bag, drive and all, through the washer and dryer. We were certain that it would be ruined, but imagine our surprise when I booted the drive up and it was in perfect condition! None of the information that I had copied (i.e. 300 pictures, 138 songs, 1 partially finished novel and various short stories) was missing.

I will definitly order another drive from this company when I need it.

Digital camera Review: A little too wide, slide in and out feature is a cheap gimmick
Summary: 2 Stars

I like the size of the drive and the price was pretty good. So far the most important feature, the data transfer and storage have worked fine.

However, I completely overestimated the usefulness of having the USB connector slide in and out. In order to achieve this, the manufacturer has had to make the plastic shell wider than typical USB flash drives. This drive encroaches on the adjacent USB port, making it harder to plugin a second USB device while this is running. The slider and plastic shell feel cheap, and they probably are. I would have rather had a very streamlined USB flash disk that didn't have the shell, and let the USB connector part stick out all the time. As it is, in the case of this device, dirt and other particles are still free to fall into the front of the USB connector. Only the sides of the connector are protected by retracting into the plastic shell, but the metal surrounding the standard USB connector doesn't need much protecting. So what have we accomplished? A fatter, flimsy-feeling USB flash disk that encroaches on adjacent USB ports and doesn't have a complete end cap even if I was worried about protecting the USB connector (which I'm not).

Do not buy this USB flash disk. Try one of the many other brands with a more functional, streamlined enclosure design.
