Digital camera Review: An ALL STAR item
Summary: 5 Stars

More and more friends are getting digital picture frames. Sneak out their chip and pop in a flash drive of your pictures. They will be amazed.

Digital camera Review: For better speed, try a Kingston
Summary: 3 Stars

Frustratingly slow compared to the Kingston DataTraveler 8 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive DT100/8GB. The extra speed is worth the extra $2 to me, and the Kingston does not have the U3 software.

Also, the light on the drive is lit almost all the time--not just when you are using the drive.

Digital camera Review: Not as described
Summary: 3 Stars

I just received my flash drive yesterday and was disappointed with what arrived. When I opened it up, the packaging was very plain and did not mention U3 anywhere on it. When I put it in a computer, I found that it was just a plain blank flash drive. The packaging looked retail, but I am concerned it might be a fake or knockoff product, and the transfer speed is incredibly slow, especially when you're moving lots of small files.

I'm using this on Windows 7, which says it could use the drive for readyboost, but I think this drive is running much slower than specifications. I used to have an 8gb HP flash drive that I bought for about the same price, and I would definitely recommend that product over this one. The only difference is that it has a somewhat loose cap, but I prefer the high transfer speed over the wobbly slider on this flash drive anyways.

Digital camera Review: Works great, just format it first !!!
Summary: 5 Stars

This product works great. Unfortunately, a lot of you, mostly novices, just put it in thinking it would be blank - you were wrong. Whenever you add a new hard drive, flash drive, etc. the FIRST thing to do is to format it to your OS. You were the ones that took it for granted that something brand new ought to be blank.

For those of you that still have it (in a drawer collecting dust), shutdown your computer. Insert the flash drive. Boot into safe mode (if you don't know how, Google it). Then do a FULL format, not a quick one. Viola, all done, reboot into normal mode.

Don't forget to click on the safe removal icon before you unplug it, or you could just cross your fingers then complain if/when you lose files !!!

Digital camera Review: Good for the Price
Summary: 4 Stars

This flash drive works well and is super portable. It's hard to find an 8GB for this price.
