Digital camera reviews of SanDisk Cruzer Titanium 4 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive SDCZ7-4096-A10

Digital camera Review: Do not put on your keychain!
Summary: 3 Stars

I spent the extra money to get the Cruzer with a metal case. Big mistake! I keep it on my keychain and the metal case is constantly hitting my keys making a very loud noise every time I take a step. Get the plastic one, it doesn't look as cool but is much quieter!

Digital camera Review: Does What I Wanted and a Pleasant Surprise
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased three SanDisk 4 GB Cruser USB Micros with U3 in Fall, 2008 solely for data storage (extra backup and transport). Based on reviews I had read, I expected to have to go to SanDisk's website to figure out how to remove the U3. As a result, I put off using the Crusers until now (June 2009). When I plugged the first one in to my XP equipped desktop computer, a message came up inviting me to either launch or delete the U3. It also advised that I could reinstate the U3 whenever I wished, using a small executable that remained on the drive. The delete process took only a few seconds and, subsequently I was able to store close to 4 GB of various files in about 15-20 minutes. The process went smoothly and a few tests of "recoveries" were uneventful. Repetition of this same process for the other two drives also went smoothly. In short, I have three very satisfactory data storage devices, easily configured to avoid the bells and whistles, but easily reconfigurable in case I want to use features such as the password protection.

Digital camera Review: Durable and stylish
Summary: 5 Stars

Dropped this flash drive for several times but it still works fine and no scratches too!

Digital camera Review: Durable, yet lightweight
Summary: 1 Stars

I really like this flash drive. I remember when SanDisk released there "titanium" series, which purports to be able to be crushed by a large significant amount of weight. I even remember even seeing a video on Cnet, when they took a car, and drove over the drive and it still works.

Since then, flash drives have become significantly smaller, and in suit, SanDisk has released an even smaller flash drive in the titanium series. This means that with technology, the drive becomes smaller, and with SanDisk encasing it in Titanium steel --you still get that durability.

I love this thing and if you are looking for a flash drive reliable both logically and physically, I'd go with this one.

Digital camera Review: Easy to use and very fast
Summary: 5 Stars

I recently acquired this to back up my system and it was easy and very fast. I haven't had time to play with some of the software that is available on it but I highly recommend it to anyone who wants something that is simple and quick.
