Digital camera reviews of SanDisk ImageMate 12-in-1 USB 2.0 Flash Memory Card Reader SDDR-89-A15Digital camera Review: A great too to have Summary: 4 Stars
Very easy to install - just plug in and XP recognized all the slots.
Transfering file is easy too. I use XP scanner and camera wizard to transfer file. It made it easy and no pain.
The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because I unplug the driver after every use. If I keep the driver connected, it slows down my PC. It is the only trade off. Since I don't use the reader everyday, I unplugged it after every use which helps to keep my system to be on top performance.
Digital camera Review: A handy tool. Summary: 5 Stars
This is a very handy tool that works exactly as advertised. If you work with multiple digital storage/memory devices, this device can save you a lot of time transferring image or video files.
Digital camera Review: A must have! Summary: 5 Stars
You need to have this product! There are so many memory cards out there and this one reads most of them.I can't live without it!
Digital camera Review: A piece of junk Summary: 1 Stars
I must have a slow learning curve. I actually kept on buying this reader hoping that the next one would work. It didn't. Each one punked out regularly. Sometimes it wouldn't read the card from my Nikon. Another time it wouldn't read the card for my Leica. Now it is just sitting there looking like a piece of abstract sculpture. My advice: don't go near it. I can't believe that something like this is on the market.
Digital camera Review: A versatile device Summary: 5 Stars
Installation of the software was straight forward, and the device just plugs into a USB port even with power on. I have used this reader/writer with 1GB, 250MB, 8MB Compact Flash cards and a 32MB Multimedia card, all of which are accepted easily. I have used it to handle pictures from my camera, but even more often to backup data from my hard drive, just dragging and dropping folders in Windows Explorer, and sometimes moving them to another computer by plugging the USB cable in, dragging and dropping. One of the best value and most useful accessories I have ever bought.
