This is an awesome card reader. I have a micro SD card that I use for my phone (LG VX8300), and I was trying to put mp3's and video files on it, and didn't have any luck with a previous card reader. My computer is also pretty old (Dell Dimension 4100), has Windows ME, plus it has USB 1.1. I thought these would all be a problem, but not at all. Just followed all the instructions carefully, and viola, it works! I've been able to put all my favorite mp3's, full length movies, and tv shows on my 1gb micro Sd card on my phone. I will say that although it said you don't need a driver for Windows ME, my PC prompted me to insert a disc for the driver, so I did (with the included CD), and it worked perfectly. Also, it says that USB 2.0 is required (but that it's backwards compatible with 1.1); but all I have is USB 1.1 and it works great. Love this card reader.Digital camera Review: Awkward, but works.

The SanDisk MobileMate SD+ 5-in-1 Mobile Reader is perfect for what I needed it for - reading the Micro SD card in my LG VX8300 phone. It also comes in handy for reading the SD cards my Nikon digital camera uses.
As pointed out in other reviews, the rubber slot protector is useless and will probably tear off in no time. It's also kind of awkward to plug into the USB port on the computer with the cards sticking out of the bottom of the MobileMate Reader, but at this price, who cares.

The MobileMate SD+ SDDR-103 can read SD, SDHC, miniSD, miniSDHC, microSD, microSDHC/TransFlash, MultiMediaCard, MMCplus, MMCmobile, RS-MMC, and RS-MMC Dual Voltage. However it does NOT read Memory Stick.
The MobileMate MS+ SDDR-107 can read Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO, Memory Stick Duo, and Memory Stick PRO Duo.
I need to read a Memory Stick PRO Duo card and mistakenly bought the SDDR-103 based on this product description. I don't know how the SDDR-103 performs because I can't use it. But I gave it one star to get your attention. If you are reading this review then maybe you won't make the same mistake that I did.

Some say it's not good but I find it so compact & the best so far. I had problems with sandisk SD cards before and trashed it. I tried using PNY or CRUCIAL and never had any problems at all. Like one user said earlier, THE SD card slot is on the side, and MOST of the SD card will stick out when you plug it in.
so You can NOT just plug the SD card, and leave it there, and use this card reader as usb flash drive, IT WONT WORK. (u can not carry it out with you with the SD card sitcking on the side).
However, using it as card reader (which is how it is intended to be used), it works perfect for me. I use it with my Patriot 2G 133X SD card, and it works flawlessly.
