Digital camera Review: 4 1/2 Stars - Great Player after you get how to manage the files.

Headphones:
I didn't get all the complaints about the headphones that come with the player. I think they are REALLY good, mine come with different headphones from the ones showing in the picture here at amazon, maybe it was an upgrade.
WMA files:
I encoded all my mp3 in 64kbps WMA (I read somewhere that 64kbps wma's = mp3's 128kbps) and got a great sound quality + smaller files.
WMA Sorting BUG:
This player has a WMA sorting bug that I hope will be corrected with a firmware update. But it WON'T, and I repeat, IT WON'T avoid you from sorting your musics by GENRE with wma files. What happens is that it only shows the FIRST letter of the genre you named. Let's say you labeled all your ROCK musics with the genre Rock. It will show only the letter R when you select it to sort by genre. That can be an issue if you choose to make another label with the genre Relax (for all your relax songs). But they will still both show up and you will be able to select them both. This won't occur with mp3 files where the genre label shows properly.
Solution for radio shows, audio books, podcasts, etc:
I know this is a "CON" that this player only resume .AA files (wich are propietary and I can't encode my mp3 podcasts in this format). I found a solution that is GOOD (but not perfect). I used this FREEWARE software called MP3 Cutter (google it up). And I've cut my podcasts in chunks of 10 minutes. So when i stop listening I only have to search within this 10 minute time frame where I stoped. Nothing avoids you from cutting them smaller, let's say 5 minutes or less.

The manual that comes with the player really sucks. But the online version is really good and cover almost everything you need.

To favorite a song:
To favorite a song press and HOLD the SELECT buttom (the one in the center) for a few seconds while listening to music and the option to make it a favorite will appear.

The Sansa e140's sophisticated, yet simple navigation allows sorting songs by artist, album, song title, genre, year, date loaded, and more. Navigation is made all the more enjoyable with an indigo backlit multi-line LCD, which shows full ID3 tag info. Meanwhile, sound quality is enhanced by SRS WOW technology.
The device plays MP3, WMA (including secure WMA content), and Audible audio file formats, and it is fully compatible with purchased songs and content from leading online sources such as Real's Rhapsody music service, which brings together the largest legal collection of digital music in the world.
