BUT WAIT-----WE ALSO BOUGHT A 4GIG SD CARD WHICH HELD ABOUT 6-THOUSAND IMAGES.
THE QUALITY IS INHERENT IN THESE CARDS.
WE WERE ABLE TO STORE ---ALL---IMAGES FROM A 30-DAY EUROPE VACATION ON THE 4GIG CARD.

This is a great card for newer digital cameras. It's quite fast. I own two of these cards for my cameras. One thing is that if you do buy one, be sure to get a good reader to go with it. Otherwise it's slow to transfer to the computer.Digital camera Review: A great choice for a great price

This memory chip is perfect. I like to take a lot of video with my digital camera and I feel like I always have plenty of space with the 2G card. It has been reliable and relatively inexpensive. This way I did not have to by a video camera because I have the two in one. Just be sure to save your photos on your laptop every now and then and you're good to go.
