Digital camera Review: buyer beware

I have owned 5 sansa clips. ALL of them have crapped out on me at various times and none of the failures were from abuse. You will get absolutely no where with SanDisk customer service. They will request that you take pics of the player and email them to CS so they can 'evaluate' the repair... once you send the pics you will have to be pro-active and contact CS about your claim otherwise you will you will never hear from them!!! A solution to this is keep your reciept and return the broken Clip from where you purchased it... provided it is within the return period. Also, the Clip does not like sweat. If you exercise while wearing it and sweat travels down the earphone cord and into the unit... INSTANT DEATH. Once it shorts out, you can not turn it on or even plug it into your USB port to extract the files.... NOTHING. I learned this twice each from brand new units.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
oh, but other than this slight flaw when it works without crapping out... it works fine.

I love my SanDisk Sansa Clip, and I'm very happy I bought it. But for those who are looking into buying one, you may want to know the following.
The clicking of the buttons are kind of loud

The lowest volume setting is almost a medium level in my opinion. If you want the music to be a faint sound in the background for reading and such, you might get a little frustrated.
BUT... the sound quality is AMAZING, the clip itself is strong and not easily breakable, the screen is just the right size with clear and easy to see words, and it goes just about everywhere! Over all, I would definitely put in a good word for this tiny but mighty mp3 player!
Digital camera Review: Headphone Issues!?!?

I bought this item from Target, got it home, and after charging it realized that the headphones don't work unless they are barely plugged in! You can't push the headphones all the way in! When pushed all the way in (like you normally would use headphones) there is no sound. When you wiggle them around and have them about 1/2 way in they work...if I were to run while wearing them they would fall out.
So, I returned the item and exchanged it for another one.....it has the exact same problem! Don't know if this is some type of manufacturing defect? I wondered if anyone else had this problem. I will be returning this item again tomorrow and I am not getting another one of these. I liked that it had a clip and after having the Shuffle I think I may go back to it again.

I bought this Sansa Clip 2 GB MP3 player to use mainly for workout purposes at our local YMCA. I am amazed at how many songs it will hold!! The quality of the sound is good and I like being able to clip it to my clothes as I work out. I did purchase a different type of ear plugs since my ears are smaller than the plugs that came with it. It works well with those too. It is tiny and I appreciate a good product Amazon.
