Sansa Clip Review:
I've never used an ipod or ipod mini, but I don't see the need for those expensive devices to play music, when the Sansa Clip does everything I want it to. You can build playlists, or just play music based on the album, genre, or even the artists name. It has an FM tuner as well, and I think you can record voice (but I've never used it for that). It has a lock switch, so that you do not accidentally alter your music player, and all the controls are intuitive. I've owned the Sansa clip for over a year, and it has performed well in that time. 5 Stars.
Earphone Review:
When I bought my Sansa clip, I removed the stock earphones for another pair I bought some time ago for my phone (knockoff ipod earphones), because I thought the stock earphones would be inferior. However, for the gym, the earphones I bought were not that good, because it was difficult to hear the music in a noisy area, even when the volume is at the maximum level. I recently ordered a new pair of earphones to exercise with, but needed to wait for delivery. I was without earphones and used the ones that came with the Sansa, and woah, was I wrong about it being inferior. The earphones that come with the Sansa are AWESOME! They provide great fidelity, and I hear bass and subtle sounds in my music that I never heard with my "for ipod" earphones. The foam sponge surrounding the buds fit well in my ear, are comfortable for moderate use and do not remove themselves easily unless I pull or tug at them with adequate force. The foam also serves to provide some noise isolation, but the earphones are not for this purpose. They do however create a good seal so that you hear mostly the music from your music player, compared to ambient noise. 5 Stars.

I've been using this for a month now and it's awesome. My wife really wanted an Ipod Shuffle to use at the gym. After looking around (and reading some reviews) I found the Sansa Clip. They are fabulous. All the benefits of a Shuffle plus more:
- More Space
- An LCD screen so you can see what's playing
- The ability to browse your content and pick what you want as well as the ability to just let it shuffle the content on its own.
It's like having all the power of a regular MP3 player but in something small enough to be clipped to your shirt while you work out. Speaking of the clip - it does everything I need to, which is hold the player on my shirt while I use the elliptical, stationary cycle, etc.
I'm glad I bought two (one in black for me and one in red for my wife).

I have wanted an mp3 player for the gym for awhile, but had been waiting for the size to go down and the price as well. This suits me perfectly. It is very compact, and doesn't bother me at all at the gym on an armband. I timidly ordered the pink, thinking, hmmm, maybe I will hate the color, but I actually like it a lot.
The sound quality isn't half bad, and the volume has a good range. It is easy to use with the rhapsody trial that comes with it (you just have to remember to cancel it when the month is up if you don't want to continue with it). The text size is great for a such a compact player. I wear multifocal contacts which can make reading a bit tricky, but I have no problem reading the words. It is also easy to scroll through the playlists. Lovin' this item!
