Digital camera reviews of SanDisk Sansa Clip 2 GB MP3 Player (Black)Digital camera Review: So far so good! No problems with my Mac Summary: 5 StarsI had a first-generation iPod Shuffle that I mistakenly left on an airplane when I returned from Oxford. I only used it for podcasts; I would load them up, listen, then delete. I had it for four years and loved it. But the new shuffles scared me away for two reasons: the price and the fact that you MUST use apple headphones in order to control it. No way.
So I purchased one of these hot little numbers as a way to listen to my podcasts during my walk to school and while doing chores, and although I've only had it about a month, all systems point to go. Although it does not sync to iTunes, getting the podcasts onto the Sansa Clip 2 is easy; just drag and drop into the 'podcast' folder. You can delete them when you are done through the unit itself rather than through iTunes, which is nice. The little screen in nice (another perk over the Shuffle), and allows me to pick and choose what I listen to (another nice perk). Battery life is excellent; about 15 hours or so between charges, and while some have had issues with the clip, mine seems strong (it is also detachable).
In all, this was a great replacement for my Shuffle, and at about 1/2 the cost, it's a no brainer. You might want to pick up a set of headphones, as the ones that are included are of rather poor quality.
Digital camera Review: Don't waste your money on this thing Summary: 1 StarsThis thing is a piece of junk. Horrible interface. No way to implement or save a new playlist. Laughable battery life. And oh, YES-- it died less than five months after I bought it. Not a dead battery, but the player itself--dead. Don't spend money on this thing. Save up and buy a decent player instead.
Digital camera Review: Go buy it. NOW! Summary: 5 StarsIf this played video, it WOULD be the iPod Nano. It has the sound quality of the iTouch, and the Drag-and-Drop feature for adding music makes it easy for any program you use.
Digital camera Review: WOW - What a great value!! So glad I got this!! Summary: 5 StarsThis player exceeded my wildest expectations. It's small, but packs a punch. It's super small, has a great built in clip, incredible battery life, and works with Rhapsody to Go. The sound quality is great and the navigation on the unit is simple enough! A great buy guys =D
Digital camera Review: I love this little thing. Summary: 5 StarsIt's a nice player for the price. If you don't need anything fancy, go for it. My middle-aged eyes have no difficulty reading the clear display and the function buttons are easy to use. When my current player reaches the end of its useful life, I'll get another one like it (8 gig next time, it filled up fast!). The clip seems secure but I never trust clips on devices like this, I got a case and armband for secure attachment while working out. Definitely get a skin and/or case to protect it. As with most MP3 players, the standard earbuds are icky, get better ones.
