Digital camera reviews of SanDisk Sansa Clip 2 GB MP3 Player - Black

Digital camera Review: Battery is the only problem...
Summary: 3 Stars

Other than its annoying propensity to lose charge whether or not it is used, this is a great little unit. I have found that if I don't charge it every three days or so the battery will be dead when I try to turn it on. I like the re-chargeable aspect of it (charges from a USB2 port) but the battery on my unit cannot seem to hold a charge - which means it is no good on long trips unless I take my computer along to charge it.

Digital camera Review: Battery life is too short
Summary: 3 Stars

Nice player, does what I want it to do, but the battery life could be better. I find myself charging this too often for the amount of time that it is actually used.

Digital camera Review: Beats my Wife's iPod
Summary: 4 Stars

I have bought the clip a coupel of times. It is so easy to use and small. Itis great for clipping on my shorts while jogging. I had the opeion of getting an iPod but here are my reasons for liking a simple MP3 player like the clip.
1. It is small
2. It is easy to load MP3 on
3. It works without any software loaded on my PC

My wife has an iPod. I think the iPod is a great device but here is why I didnt want to get one (most of this rant is about iTunes, not the iPod. However, the 2 are inseperable)
1. Much more expensive, even for the simpole models. I didn't want to watch movies and other stuff, I jsut wanted ot listen to music.
2. iTunes is one of the worst pieces of software that I have ever used. Apple prides itself on usability - so what happened with iTunes??? Also, iTunes constantly has upgrades. Apple people also like to jump on Microsoft for all their patches and updates to fix thigns. I don't necessarily think that Apple software is any better or more stable, Apple just has better marketing. Apple calls these "upgrades" or "updates" and gives the user the impression that ther are getting somethgin new and better. As much as my wife's iTunes asks for an update I would bet that they are patching the software, especially when I see little change to the user interface and features and only a minor increase in revision number. That's patch, not upgrade my friends.
3. I really like the ease of MP3 vs. .acc
4. My wife has to do regular hard resets on her iPod

Conclusion: Save your money and some frustration. The clip isn't sexy and you do not want your friends to see you with it but if you just want to listen to music with no hassle it is the way to go.

Digital camera Review: Belive me DONT BY THIS
Summary: 1 Stars

Went through 3. all of them died within the third day. The clip is a GREAT idea! but Sandisk needs to do something about the instability. Go for the Ipod Shuffle or Samsung Pebble. The pebble is awesome!

Digital camera Review: Best (small) Mp3 player yet!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have had for a looong time an ipod shuffle. I truly have no idea why i bought it. the sound quality was quite bad. it had no screen. and it was well, a little expensive. Then. i lost it. POOF! gone. thats when i started looking at other Mp3 players. ones that had screens. ones with good sound quality. i eventually settled on the sansa clip. It has a VERY snazzy screen. holds more music than that (removed for the childrens) ipod shuffle and cost less. it fits in my hand just right and is perfect for long car rides. It has very good sound quality and feels very sturdy. this makes a great gift for anyone (including yourself)
