Digital camera reviews of SanDisk Sansa Express 1 GB MP3 Player (Black)

Digital camera Review: Handy pocket music entertainment.
Summary: 5 Stars

I use this player the most from my collection of players because its small like a pack of gum,
Has the FM tuner with auto scan for stations, sound quality is great,
easy USB plug in battery recharge, expandable memory slot, I put in a 8GB card and
it is recognized.
Great price to , I'm happy with it.

Digital camera Review: I love it so far
Summary: 5 Stars

I have been very happy with this product so far. I love being able to drag-n-drop music into it without having to use iTunes or some other annoying program. The battery seems to last a long time. Charging is easy. Most of the time it stays in my car plugged into the stereo system. I don't have any experience jogging with it or anything like that. I have not tried the FM radio or voice recorder. I bought it for playing mp3s. It's very small - Basically a flash drive that plays music. It is more impressive than I expected it to be when I ordered it.

Digital camera Review: sandisk mp3 player
Summary: 5 Stars

I'm very happy with the ease of installing music and the quality of the music. Of course, the price (under $25) was very appealing also.

Digital camera Review: It's good!
Summary: 5 Stars

I wanted a simple player for audio books.
-Sound quality, great
-battery life, great

No matter I tried to configure a playlist, the order of chapters in an audiobook were unpredictable. I spent hours trying to get the chapters to get in the correct order. It'd be great if you want randomly ordered music.

UPDATE (27-Jul-2009):
If I could, I'd have re-rated it to 5 stars (or 4.5 for the hassle of figuring it out). I got the playlist order to work. When I get the audiobook files in a folder, I open Windows Media Player, Open the directory containing the songs (it goes into My Library), highlight the songs (they come up in order) and simply create a playlist of them in the desired order. THEN I sync each playlist with the Sandisk. Finally, when turning on the Sandisk, I select Music then tab down to playlists, and select my book (a specific playlist). Sounds trivial, but finding out how to do this took a while and I've seen other gripes in various discussions around the web.

Digital camera Review: Junk
Summary: 1 Stars

This product has great potential, but it just doesn't cut it. The most annoying problem is that it doesn't remember where you left off when you pause or when you skip songs (yes, I upgraded the firmware). If you're 30 minutes into a 1 hour podcast and you accidentally advance, forget it. Game over. Avoiding Pause and using the off button actually maintains your place, but what a hassle. Finally, the whole thing kicked the bucket after about 6 months. I loved the fact that it had an FM transmitter. Sad, definitely sad.

I've found a better solution to this piece of junk: stick with the iPod shuffle and use Media Monkey. Works great.
