Digital camera reviews of SanDisk Sansa Fuze 4 GB Video MP3 Player (Black)

Digital camera Review: Best I have owned so far..
Summary: 5 Stars

I have owned this one for about two months. It works great and has really great features (Radio, mic, pictures, etc.) The down fall to this great device is when you load music on it, it takes forever!! It's about a minute a song, so when you are first putting all your songs on it takes a couple of hours. I'm still not done putting everything on there because I don't want to sit there for 5-6 hours straight. The other thing is that my radio works "most" of the time, which really irritates me because I use it every day. I bought mine at Best Buy though so I have a warranty that allows me to take it in and trade with not questions asked.

Digital camera Review: Best MP3 out there.
Summary: 5 Stars

I have just gotten this product in less than two days and I specified free super savings shipping which is 5-9 days, so I'm impressed.Once I got it I thought I needed to download a software but I didn't. I just plugged in the USB connector and Windows Media Player synched all my music quickly. I also inserted videos and photos easily and with no problems. The earphones that came with it are good and the scroller to navigate is fast. This MP3 player is an easy recommendation for anyone who doesn't like the hassle of iTunes or Zune programs and wants their music fast. BUY IT!!!

Digital camera Review: Best MP3 player I've used
Summary: 5 Stars

This is the best mp3 player I've ever owned, or used. The expansion slot is great. I bought the 4 gig model and then a 4 gig micro sd card, so I basically have a 8 gig model. I've had no problems with this after over 2 months of almost constant use.

I don't use it for videos or pictures, so I'm not sure about that. Be sure to update the player. Sansa puts out some awesome updates (folder view, ogg vorbis support, and more).

Digital camera Review: Best Value for the Money
Summary: 5 Stars

My wife bought a different MP3 player in anticipation of a 12 hour each way road trip. On the surface, it seemed the same as the Sansa Fuze, but with the addition of a built-in digital camera and a lower cost. However, the manual was barely written in English, the user interface was clunky and cumbersome, and it didn't support organizing the music into folders the way our ripping software liked to put it. Despite saying it supported MicroSD, it only supported the old standard of up to 2 GB cards. Since our music collection requires around 8 GB, this was a source of great annoyance to my wife. Luckily, she had bought it plenty of time in advance. We returned it and ordered the Sansa Fuze.

However, it was scheduled to arrive for the day before our trip, so we wouldn't have time to mess with it if it wasn't up to par. We put all our music on an 8 GB MicroSDHC card and hoped for the best.

When it arrived, we put our card in and it worked flawlessly. The user interface was intuitive enough that we didn't even have to read the clear and concise manual. It has a much more compact, sleek size than we expected from the pictures, and it came with a soft cloth protective cover. The sound quality is great, and we were able to fit our entire music collection along with a couple of audio books, without having to carry a bunch of extra MicroSD cards along. Most importantly, myself as an engineer and my not very tech savvy wife were both happy with it.

Two minor points of contention: you can't make playlists from the device, although you can make them on your computer and the Sansa Fuze can use them, and the other colors than black inexplicably cost more.
