Digital camera reviews of SanDisk Sansa Fuze 4 GB Video MP3 Player (Black)Digital camera Review: Amazing product! Summary: 5 Stars
The Sansa Fuze is a phenomenal MP3 Player! Its small size, jazzy looks, and intuitive operation make it a joy to own. Songs are all neatly categorized in several different ways (artist, album, genre, etc.) yet even if you have 1000 songs loaded, you can find the one you're looking for in just a matter of seconds. I suppose the feature I like best is the "Go List", which allows you to compile and store a temporary playlist from all the songs loaded WITHOUT having to connect it to your computer. Fantastic!
(The feature I like least is the rather clumsy on/off switch, but even that cannot detract from the overall high quality of the Fuze.)
The screen is rather small for viewing photos or videos, IMHO, but you can do that too if you want! Plus FM radio and a voice recorder!
Wow, what's not to love about the Sansa Fuze????
Digital camera Review: Amazing! Summary: 5 Stars
When I bought this, I was looking for something cheap, I really didn't care how many things it could do, because anything would be better than the one I had at the time. My previous mp3 player that hap no screen to speak of, only help 43 megabytes, took 8 hours to charge and only held 2 hours of battery power. When this came in I was very suprised with its many functions, and at the quality of it. This device has many useful and just generally nice to have things such as:
The ablitity to record at least an hour worth of memos (with a very strong mic)
The ability to record radio
FM radio tuner (good reception)
The ability to change the color of the back light
The ability to show album art
It will shut the screen off automaticlly (you can chose how long the back light will stay on) but still play your music, it saves battery power
The ability to create playlists
The ability to shuffle your music or have it in alphebetical order
The ability to chose a sound equalizer that fits your type of music
Comes with good headphones
Excellent sound quality
Plays many diffrent formats of music and video
Your videos play very clearly, the screen is a good size
It's expandable
Long battery life
Easy to sync music and charge (just plug it into your computer)
Holds pictures
Can loop your pictures (make a slideshow) to a song of your choice
Shows time and date
The ability to caterogarize music however you wish (song, genre, album, artist, playlists, or how you rate it)
You can play audiobooks
Pefect size, it'll fit right in your pocket
Easy to use
All in all this is a stylish unit with excellent quality!

Digital camera Review: An Excellent MP3 Player Summary: 5 Stars
The Sandisk Sansa Fuze is a quality MP3 player. I've had the 4GB model for about a month. I've got about 1500 songs on it, with about half a gig of space left. I only use it for music -- I don't have any need or desire to see pictures or movies on a less than 2 inch screen. Paired with a pair of Audioengine 5 speakers Audioengine 5 - PC multimedia speakers for iPod - 45 Watt (total) - 2-way - black, it now serves as my primary stereo system. The sound is as good as or better than any component stereo system I've had. It plays for hours -- I think the claim of 24 hour battery life is probably reasonable, although I haven't let it run the battery all the way down before recharging. You can get a wall charger for it for next to nothing -- I got this one:SANDISK SANSA Premium Black Travel Wall A/C Charger for SanDisk Sansa c100 / c200 / e200 Series (although the Fuze is not listed, it does use the same input connection). This charger works great, and it's never taken more than a few minutes to charge the Fuze, much faster than using the computer to charge via USB connection.
The display is plenty large and legible. The controls have a good, solid feel, and navigation is really fairly intuitive once you get used to using the thumb wheel.
Although you can drag and drop music to the Fuze using Windows Explorer, I recommend creating playlists on Windows Media Player 11 and syncing them to the Fuze. The output leveling capability of WMP11 greatly reduces the problem of different volume levels among music files so you can shuffle your music without having to constantly adjust the volume.
I definitely recommend the Sansa Fuze. It's a bargain for its quality.
Digital camera Review: An affordable alternative to an i-pod. Summary: 5 Stars
This was a gift. I have also bought 2 of the 8g. One for a gift for my daughter and one for myself. I am very happy with mine. Especially the ease of use. My daughter is fairly hard on electronics and it has held up.
