I had a Sandisk Sansa e200 series (the 2GB model) for years, and I was very happy with it. Unfortunately, it bit the dust. I can't complain though. I got my use out of it. So, when searching for a new MP3 player, the Fuze made perfect sense. It's smaller, lighter, and cheaper than the original one I had, and it has pretty much the same features. Over all, I can't complain one bit about the sound quality or battery life. The size is perfect: It fits right in my change pocket of my Levi's. Anyone in the market for an MP3 player (especially those who don't want to support crappy Apple products) should look into this one!Digital camera Review: Awesome!

Wow! What a great little MP3 player!! I had an old Sansa from several years ago. We are taking a long airplane ride, and thought I would splurge and get one of these to help while away the trip. WOW! It is great!! I have TONS of great songs downloaded and they sound great. I also LOVE the video playback. I about went nuts trying to figure out HOW to transfer video to the player (downloaded a dvd to avi converter-free online) then was able to transfer video to an avi file, that to the sansa media converter, and finally to the player itself. WHEW!! But it did work, and it will definitely keep me occupied while in route! This little baby is sturdy, too. It loaded tons of my favorite pictures as well. We got this little guy a couple weeks ago and it couldn't be better! It was way better than we expected: is really small, beautiful, user friendly and the sound quality is really good (we tried play it connected to a sound system, and the quality was better than my iPod nano).
It's a really good buy, if you're looking for a really portable mp3 player. Also, the radio feature works great, and you can use the card to expand the memory. We didn't try to play many videos on it, just the ones that came with the product, and it seems to work perfectly.
We really liked this product, and more people in my family are considering buying it.

Have had this for 6 months. Solid feel-- good construction-- great sound and the only audio book friendly Player I found out of 3 mp3s I purchased. The unit starts where you shut it off and the ability to move back and forward in chapters of books quickly, make this a pleasure to use----- throw in great battery life and crystal clear sound and you can't go wrong with this Ipod killer. A decent set of ear buds finishes off the pkg. After having troubles with my iPod and iTunes for the last three years, I decided it was time to break away from apple and try the world of MP3! And let me tell you, it was a great decision. I was still wavering about whether I still wanted to stick with apple or try something new. I wanted something that was good quality, easy to use, lots of space, and long battery life. I wasn't concerned on the cost, So I did some research on which Mp3 I should invest in, and it juestkept coming back to the Sansa Fuze. So I bought it. It's the best Mp3 player I have ever had! It exceaded my expectations. I thought It was going to be a piece of crap that would break down in a couple months, but it turned out to be so amazing! I will never go back to an iPod after this. There is really nothing I don't like about the Fuze.

-Voice Recorder (great for recording passing thoughts and music at live cocerts!)
-Easy to use
-Easy to upload music
-Slick looking
-Good sized screen (and has good color)
-Controls are easy to use
-External memory (best invention ever, Ill tell you about it in the nest paragraph)
-Can have audiobooks on there
Con's:
-The sound quality could be a little better.
-Can't take photo's
-Can't play games
-Can't shuffle by album (you can shuffle by song though)
-Screen scratches easily (investing in a cover is a easy fix)
Overall, I am extreemly happy with my player. I am so happy I bought it. As you can see, it has many many pros. I never though I could be anything else besides an apple person, but this player proved me wrong. And the Extermal memory is awesome. So if you have 4gb Fuze like I bought and filled that up with in second of first uploading songs, you can buy a Micro SD HC card (like the ones you put in your cell phones and cameras) and put in in the slot in the Sansa Fuze, and WhaLa! You can have as many gb's as you want. I bought a 16gb and just plugged it in the player. Now I have an amazing player with amazing storage.
So, if you are having any doubts about this player, I hope I relieved them for you. Iv'e had it for a couple of months now, and I still love is as much as the day I bought it.
