Digital camera reviews of SanDisk Sansa Fuze 4 GB Video MP3 Player (Blue)Digital camera Review: Been great so far... Summary: 5 Stars
We gave this to our daughter for Chrismas (she's 14) and she really likes it so far. She said the sound is great, it doesn't take long to charge, and is easy to use. Actually, our other daughter is using Christmas money to buy one for herself.
Digital camera Review: Best MP3 Player! Summary: 5 Stars
This is so much more user friendly then an iPod. If you frequently use a thumb drive or other sort of USB drive, then you will immediately know how to use this. There is no need to convert files like you have to do with iTunes. Highly recommended!
Digital camera Review: Best MP3 player ever Summary: 5 Stars
I have three of these.
Why three? Because I liked the first one so much, I bought two more, just so I'd have spares. You see, I am hard on MP3 players. I velcro them to my motorcycle, and plug them into an audio system that then connects to my helmet headset. I have carried Sansa players for thousands of miles like this. When it rains, I move the player to a second velcro spot inside the fairing pocket and keep listening. I've avoided letting them get completely soaked, but they've gotten sprinkled on a number of times, and survived that. None of them have died. Even the headphone jack ports have lasted well, and not loosened up. The motorcycle is a high vibration environment where electronics tend to break down quickly, and two of my players have gotten pretty scuffed up from bouncing around in my top case - I fear they found my toolkit. But they still work as well as ever.
I like this iteration of the Fuze because the controls are workable with gloves on. I can't read the screen while moving, it's too small and the sun washes it out. But I can operate the player by feel and that's what counts. If I'm doing anything but pausing/starting or skipping to the next song, I stop the bike so I can focus on it.
The player is small enough to be elegant looking, but still large enough to operate without needing tweezers and a microscope. :) And the "fit and finish" is superb - there is nothing about it that is cheap looking or cheap feeling.
The batteries last for at least 20 hours on a charge, long enough for an entire weekend, and I can charge them using a cigarette lighter plug so I don't have to bring a computer to recharge them at night while traveling.
My older Sansas could get a little distorted at the volumes needed to drive my bike's audio system, but the Fuze sounds very good at those higher volumes.
Another thing I like is that I don't need any special software installed on my PC - I can just drag and drop things onto the device. No need for iTunes or Windows MediaPlayer or anything. And if I am at my friend's house and I want to give them some of my music, or get some of their music, I can just plug into their PC and drag it over, since it's not tied to some media software console on my home PC.
The devices remember the spot where I left off, which is handy especially when listening to audiobooks.
I just came back to Amazon to buy a blue one, that way it will be easier to keep track of which player has which content. While I was here I decided to add a review, because I like them so much.
I've owned three previous Sansa models. For what it's worth all of them have been stone reliable - I only upgraded for the features. The old ones are still serviceable. So I think highly of this brand. I can't think of anything to wish for in the next version, but I see they have one, so I checked it out. I don't like the look of those controls - I don't think I could work them with gloves on. The Fuze is the one to have, I tell ya, even if the new one DOES come in purple. :)
Digital camera Review: Better than I thought Summary: 5 Stars
I work in a factory and listen to my SanDisk Sanfuze 4 GB player 12 hrs./day! 5 days a week.
I love it.
I also purchased the 3-in-1 kit. I wear the SanDisk all day and it doesn't even feel like it's on my arm.Sansa Fuze 3-in-1 Kit (Armband, Travel Case, & Leather-Grained Protective Sleeve)
I listen to it with the Klipsch image noise isolating earphones, and after 12 hrs.use/day I still don't feel them in my ears.
It is easy to use, especially when having to pause it.
I am 1000% happy with all these products!
Digital camera Review: Better than an Ipod! Summary: 5 Stars
This is the second Sansa I bought, and I would proudly use another one. I purchased this one for my son for Christmas and he loves it. It's easier to use than an ipod and works fantastically! It has a built in radio receiver. I hight recommend this product!
