Digital camera reviews of SanDisk Sansa Shaker 512 MB MP3 Player (Pink)Digital camera Review: Christmas Hit Summary: 5 Stars
Although the Sandisk Sansa Shaker is recommended for those 8 yrs old and up, it is quite suitable for even younger music lovers after songs have been loaded. The four-year-old who received this as a gift sings and dances along with the tunes.
Digital camera Review: Cute little player Summary: 4 Stars
I purchased this for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves it. She told me this was her favorite present. She listened to it all day on Christmas and even fell asleep listening to it. Downloading music was very quick and easy. My only negative comment is that it goes thru batteries quick and I wish it came with a charger. Other than that thi was so far, a great buy.
Digital camera Review: Daughter loves it! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought these for my kids. They were using mine on long trips, so I wanted them to have something of their own. My daughter loves hers. It's different from mine in that it has the speaker so she can unplug the headphones and listen to it while she's playing games, school work or whatever it might be. I also like that it has a second plug in for headphones so she can listen to it with a friend if she wants to. I bought her the 512 mb, but with this mp3 player, you have the option of switching to 1gb or higher just be switching the SD card. Or you can have multiple cards with different music.
Personally, I like SanDisk products, so this one being such a hit with my daughter is a bonus. The battery is inserted into the bottom of the player. To remove the cap, place the bottom of the player in the palm of your hand and twist it - like removing the cap from one of the child-proof medicine bottles.
I give this one an A+. Great features, easy to use (my daughter is 7 by the way) and easy to upgrade or switch the SD cards and fun to use for kids her age.
Digital camera Review: Didn't last long, only plays mp3s, could be more user friendly Summary: 2 Stars
Got this for my daughters 7th birthday. It was pretty fun, but several negatives.
--Lasted under two weeks, no damage. turns on but will not play
--Only plays music in MP3 format. this was a problem for me because I have some of my music and Free Audio books from the library are in WMA format.
-- You have to hold the play button while you shake it to change songs. Sometimes this doesnt work out and just puts the music on pause.
Dont let this scare you away from SanDisk players however, I have a Sansa Clip that I love (better than my Ipod)!
Digital camera Review: Disappointed! Summary: 2 Stars
I got 2 of these Shakers for my kids, 4 & 7, and I am STILL trying to get music put onto them...UHG! I thought they would be easier to use.
