Digital camera reviews of SanDisk Sansa c250 2 GB MP3 Player (Black)Digital camera Review: Be Careful As Support is Limited Summary: 1 Stars
I received and returned this product on consecutive days. The first time I connected the device to the computer to charge the battery and transfer an audiobook file to the media it seemed to be fine. When I attempted to find the file I transferred for playback I ran into problems locating the file, and thinking I probably placed the file in the wrong location, I reconnected via the USB cable and got nothing but a screen with the SANSA logo, and the device never showed up on the desktop. Device was for all practical purposes DOA.
But that's not my biggest issue with the product. DOA events sometime happen. My issue is that I sought to receive some tech help from Sansa prior to returning the product. Perhaps there might me a button sequence or similar that would reset/restore the device -- I really wanted it to work. A phone call to tech support, though, was a real shocker. Since this device is already considered a "Legacy" product by Sansa they no longer provide telephone support, or live messaging support. The only help available is via a FAQ type board and email. I think this model is only about 2 years old -- is it SOP for companies to withdraw full support for a product that's only been the market for such a short time? And, is a good idea for Amazon to be marketing a product that's already been sent out to pasture by the manufacturer. Shame on both of them as far as I'm concerned. BTW, I returned the product and bought a Sansa Clip +2. It probably won't be considered a "Legacy" device for another 6 months or so.
Digital camera Review: Best Cheap Mp3 player Summary: 5 Stars
It's been one of the best cheap little 1 gig MP3 players I've ever used! It's super easy to use and navigate, I love the radio feature, and I use it to take voice notes all the time. The only issue I have is that I never could figure out how to make playlists with it!

This is the best MP3 I have ever purchased, its very easy to use, and the sound quality is phenomenal. I was so satisfied this I have purchased 3 more for my husband, son, and daughter, who just absolutely love it.

Digital camera Review: Best MP3 player I've used Summary: 4 Stars
I've had my c250 for almost a year and it's never given me any trouble at all. I took it on a six-week cross-country bicycle ride last summer and the thing is bomb-proof. I didn't even have the protective case, but I think I may purchase that now. Great battery life too.
I can't really explain the negative reviews this player has gotten, my experience has been great. I find the display easy to read and I've had no issues with XP compatibility. I had an iAudio player by Cowon before and it was always freezing up, requiring a firmware update. The Sansa has been trouble free.
Digital camera Review: Best Mp3 Summary: 5 Stars
I bought mine in 2007 and still works great. One of the main reasons why I love this product is that it has voice recorder and radio. I had a couple of interviews and needed a voice recorder, so I used this one. The voice recorder option can also record straight from the radio, so you can just press record like you would in the old times with the cassette recorder; but now its Mp3 files.
