Does it work, yes. Does it perform as advertised, no. The Amazon description states that it runs from battery power. IT CAN'T. Therefore, I can only use it in a car.... Other equally priced units can be used in multiple locations. I give it 3 stars because it can power the unit from the vehicle, but subtract one star for the inaccurate description.
