Digital camera reviews of SanDisk Sansa e250 2 GB MP3 Player with microSD Expansion Slot (Black)Digital camera Review: Audio problems and substandard electronics Summary: 2 StarsThis mp3 player has many different features which can be useful, however, its drawbacks are rather problematic. First of all, the volume level cannot reach high enough, for those who like to listen to music at a relatively high audible level, or if the audio file is recorded at a low volume level and you need compensation. Second, the sound quality does not offer good bass sound and the stereophonic quality sound it offers is really not high quality. Third, the buttons often jam because of the fragile construction, or in other cases the circuitry jams if various different buttons are pressed too rapidly in succession because the corresponding electronic systems are poorly designed. Also, the memory size can be problematic. I would say every mp3 should offer at least 4 GB of memory.
Digital camera Review: A Nice Replacement... Summary: 5 StarsI got this to replace my older SanDisk 1 gig player. Easy to read display, nice features and plenty of storage for my needs.
Digital camera Review: lil' monsta Summary: 3 StarsI purchased the sandisk e250 because I did not watednt to go for an ipod now 2 years later I'm confident I can do a review I purchased the sandisk e250 because I didn't want to go for an ipod but I wasn't sure what to get it but I finally decided to get the sandisk e250 2gb so I went out and bought it at circut city. When I got home unboxed it pretty fast so at first I was so excited that I didn't notice any details. Then I started loading some music on anyway the whole process was very fast and so I started exploring the mp3 properties and I found out it had came loaded with 2 videos and a very nice fm radio. One day I had it on full volume and suddenly the song stopped so I tried to use the buttons but nothing would work I read online you had to wait till the battery drained. Lucky for me the battery was already very low so I waited I don't know a couple of hours then I recharged it it it was back to normal. One night I put it charge and all my music disappeared I kinda got freaked. The next morning I put all my music back on my sandisk e250. After that it was fine. Then one day I saw the the new ipod nano 4g an I took a good look at my sandisk e250 and decide that it is time to get an ipod overall it was worth the money my parents spent.
Digital camera Review: Warning: Sansa products are junk Summary: 1 StarsThe SanDisk company sent me one of these after four successive Sansa Clips all fried on me, through no fault of my own. A week ago, this one broke, too, a piece falling out when I was simply trying to plug in the USB connection. Now the company won't replace it, saying the warranty ran out a year after I bought my very first defective product, five MP3 players ago.
This company makes cheap, defective junk, then won't own up to it.
Stay away from these products.
Digital camera Review: Good product but be aware! Summary: 4 StarsFirst off be aware if you are buying a refurbished product. The first one I ordered would not hold a charge and I exchanged it. Both "factory refurbished" products still had music and other things still loaded on them from a previous owner. So the only refurbishing being done is they are cleaned up and repackaged. Firmware must still be updated and you have to get rid of the previous owners files.
Second, and most importantly. The micro SD expansion cards sold now are not recognized by the player unless you download a third party player program like Rockbox. I put a sandisk 8GB micro SD in my Sansa e250 and it would not recognize it. I found the solution on a sandisk message board. All sandisk has to do to solve the problem is change their firmware, evidently they are not interested in doing this.
All that being said, once I fixed the above issues. The player worked fine and is a good value for under $30.
