Digital camera reviews of SanDisk Sansa e280 8 GB MP3 Player (Black)Digital camera Review: Awesome MP3 player, and great for the price!!! Summary: 5 Stars
You won't find many MP3 players out there that includes FM radio, a voice/radio recorder, and several other multimedia (videos and photos) capabilities, all at a relatively low price for a substantial 8 GB of memory. THIS IS A BARGAIN! The iPods may look better, but it's just all about cosmetics when you compare the 2. The Sansa's video display leaves something to desire, but it still works fine and is not much of a problem. The Sansa may also be difficult to set up at first, as the manual that comes with it has directions that seem rather vague or inaccurate, but if you check for online support, you shouldn't have any problems. One of the features that definitely gives this device more of an edge over the iPod is that you can replace the batteries (which last a good 20+ hrs) w/o having to buy a new one, and you can buy a Micro SD chip to add more memory, though the downfall to the latter is that you can only add up to 2 GB at most. Still though, the luxury of having that option is great and probably all you need anyways. You get a better deal with the Sansa and everything and more that you can get in an iPod or most other MP3 players. I totally recommend this product!
Digital camera Review: Awesome MP3!!! Summary: 5 Stars
We own 2 of the Sansa 4GB MP3s and wanted a new SanDisk as well since we were so happy with the others. I thought these weren't available anymore because there are newer versions out there, but I was pleasantly surprised to find the 8GBs still available on Amazon. I quickly ordered another one and received it in 8 days. I have already downloaded 1100 songs on it in the past week using Rhapsody.
The sound is great, it's easy to use and downloading with Rhapsody is inexpensive and a breeze! The SanDisk also has a voice recorder, you can record off of the FM tuner, store videos and more. It is very sturdy as well and you can easily add memory to it with a micro SD card. My family absolutely loves this little MP3 player and will never switch back to iPod. This is one of the best purchases we have ever made!

As a veritable newcomer to the world of MP3, I researched the various products and chose the Sandisk e280v2. I was blown away with the performance and operation. It does things that to an old Marine are beyond belief. If you are in the market for an MP3; do as I did and choose the Sandisk e280v2.

Digital camera Review: Awesome player - ASIAN LANGUAGES ARE SUPPORTED Summary: 5 Stars
I haven't found this information anywhere else since everyone believes that there's a different Asian version that supports Asian languages. However, this is not true. They are the same player. The ones sold in Asia probably just have a different version of firmware installed. In order to enable Asian languages, you need to download and install the firmware upgrade program here: [...]
After installation, there will be an icon in the system tray by the clock. Right-click it and go to search for updates now. Then, instead of choosing English, go to the Asia or Japan option to search for updates. You'll see that the firmware version number will be the same, but it will upload an Asian version onto your player so it will then have additional Asian languages available.
Hopefully, this was helpful to everyone out there complaining about the lack of support for Asian languages and maybe Sandisk will mention this on their site in the future.
