Digital camera Review: Bargain Mp3 player!

I love my Sansa E280. I purchased a refurbished unit from "Retail Killers" on Amzon. It was a bargain at $53.00. It's easy to transfer music to it using Windows File Folders, I just copy & paste. I recommend buying a screen protector for it, this will ensure the screen isn't scratched. I use it on long bike rides & the internal battery has lasted 5+ hours on one charge. I also recommend storing it in a protective case or membrane, this will prolonge the device's life. Sandisk's customer support is excellent & you'll be able to speak to a live person, the number is on the Sandisk web site. The site is also usefull for instructions & software updates for your device. WARNING!!! Not all Sansa Micro SD cards work in all Sansa products. Find the model & generation number of your device, contact Sansa support & ask them what card is right for your device. I give it 3 stars cause it is a decent player, has a large bright screen & is easy to use & load songs into; it holds over 1000. I thought though, for the price, I shouldn't have had to print the entire product booklet from the sansa website to trouble shoot the battery problem. There is no mention about how the player just shuts off when the battery symbol is at or past half way empty and it won't turn back on even while charging. I bought a griffin car/outlet charger. After about three days of charging it in the truck the player finally turned on. The processor in this 8gb isn't too fancy either; the shuffle option is mediocre. I have over 1300 songs in mine & it keeps playing the same songs. It also will always repeat the same mix it started with earlier that same day. I have bought two of these MP3 players. The second one was bought because I couldn't get the battery replaced. Both have had the same battery problem. Once the battery goes dead it will not take a recharge. I've tried twice to recharge the batteries without any luck, even Best Buy couldn't do it. Sandisk did replace one for free. My second one I have to now find a place that sells these special batteries and buy one. Otherwise the units are fine.Digital camera Review: Best BANG for the Bux.

I've had my Sansa e280 for 3 months now. It is my first (and only) MP3 player. I looked at many different kinds of players, including iPods, and talked to many people before deciding on this one.
If I had it to do over again, I would still buy this same player. It has performed flawlessly and is everything I expected it to be. It was easy to learn and remains easy to use. The sound quality, from decent headphones, is great. Using the optional (Griffin) FM transmitter in the car eliminates the big CD collection and sounds great too.
This player is great and I highly recommend it.

My 8 yr old daughter received this from Santa and she has not put it down except for re-charging the battery. I was tossing btw this and the IPOD but seeing what it can do vs. IPOD why would you want anything else. She is having so much fun with it by recording, listening to radio and listening to music that she said this was her best xmas yet. I have not downloaded music on it yet, so I will submit a 2nd review shortly. But the quality and features it has you can't go wrong.
