I purchased this for my 12 yo son. He has recorded music (sister's band concert song), downloaded songs and listened to the radio. He has had no difficulty manipulating the buttons or using the mp3. I'm not pulling any punches here. This thing is great. I have had mine for about six months now. These SanDisk m230, and m240... are taking over. I wore mine on the John Muir Trail, and I passed another hiker who had one on his arm too! I wear mine almost every day when I jog. I use Sennheiser PX 100 headphones, they play really loud, big, big sound. I can drag and drop files with ease. This was my entry into portable music and I am so happy. I am 48 and am a newbie. This was easy. (My daughters iPod Nano is sitting unused because after twelve hours of trying to get iTunes to accept it, we gave up. Her friend wants an MP3 player like mine for Christmas. And my brother-in- law has the two gig version that he jogs with all the time.)Digital camera Review: A Great Little Device

I am not an expert with this type of technology, yet the SanDisk Sansa M230 is easy to use and works very well. The most difficult time I had was figuring out how to mark songs as favorites. I have been wanting to replace my old portable cd player for various reasons to save money on blank cds and batteries so I ordered this mp3 player for me and my wife. I got it home popped a battery in it hooked it to my computer which recognized it instantly took a couple of songs and put it on it works perfectly. The only thing I would recommend is a better pair of ear buds the ones they send hurt your ears a little bit and aren't the best sound quality although it isn't bad.Digital camera Review: A W S O M E 5 Stars
