Its Easy to use, holds about 200 songs and isn't a IPOD. Meaning you don't have to worry about an internal battery dying on you and having to buy a brand new IPOD. Serioously, I have used to work out, travel, and just about anything else you can think of. This is an excellent MP3 player. It is my first, but I still think it is good. It has enough space for people who do not have a million songs. The music playback is very good. I am actually listening to it while I write this. It takes a bit of time to load in the songs, but it is still good. The volume ranges from mute to very loud. I put it up on full volume to test it, and my ears started to hurt. That's how loud it is. I have to keep it in the bottom quarter of the range. I can hear out loud a foot from my head medium when it is on full. That is one good point. It is extremely small, Even smaller than I need. There is barely any time in between the songs. There is actually about 0 seconds. The only con I have found is that that the backlighting on the screen is not very good. I would still buy it even though. For the money I was expecting something cheap and lacking in features. Having owned and returned and iPod Nano I can say this is a great alternative. It comes with arm band and case so you dont need to go out an spend $20-$30 like you would with an iPod. We bought two of these for our kids (ages 10 & 13) for Christmas. They are awesome!! They sound great! My husband and I now would both like one. It comes with software to use but you don't have to. You can just open up a window and drag & drop the music. For those of us that don't have millions of GB of music, these are great!
