Digital camera Review: 1 Battery Tough Unit that is not a disposable/rechargeable

single battery last for 18 hours vs having to drag around charging equipment. I have used these units in extreme conditions for years and they work perfectly. This year I gave 3 away as gifts. The manufacturers have realized that by selling units with non-replaceable batteries they have a shorter lifespan and can be resold again and again. I suggest the clip case that can be ordered from a company in Canada for around $10 (steal-bay). The case helps to waterproof unit and will allow you to clip to beltless shorts.
This is by far the best MP3 player if you are a long distance runner or biker due to the battery prioblem with rechargeables dying and then being yet another thing for the landfill. plus who wants another cord @#@#! (Only wish I could still find the 4GB version)

I purchased the Sansa M250 2GB player as new. I loved it so much that I recommended it to a friend who was also in the process of looking for an easy to operate and not too expensive player. She, like me, also loved it. I had less than 15 hours play time on mine when I got the -Frozen Sandisk screen. However, I was lucky....my friends lasted less time than mine. Her player did the the same frozen screen. I called Amazon regarding a refund and since it was past the 30 day return/refund time frame...I was out of luck. However, they gave me a toll free number to call the maker. They were kind enough to do an even exchange for a new one. They also paid the shipping. I just had to find a box to put it in. I'm in the process of waiting for them to send me the new one.....we'll see how it goes. I was just so disappointed that I had taken the time to put over 450 songs on the thing and it just quits working in such a short amount of time.
I do LOVE the player..if the next one work!!
I'm adding this comment 05/2008...its been approximately 7 months since I wrote the above. I quickly received my replacement and I love it. I use it every single day. Its great for the gym or walks. I also love the radio feature...it picks up great. I've more than gotten my moneys worth of use already. Even tho I had problems with the first one. The company made it so easy to exchange that I'd definitely buy another. I'd now give it probably 3 1/2 stars.

This item is just what I was looking for. I walk/jog every morning. The cold temperatures/humidity/ and movement was killing higher priced MP3 players. I was able to put 600 songs on this little tough guy and it's been performing well. I recently got one that would not keep the place when turning off or pausing. I returned it to Amazon and got another. Same problem developed within a few days of use.
