Digital camera reviews of SanDisk Ultra 16 GB Class 4 SDHC Flash Memory Card SDSDRH-016G-A11Digital camera Review: Buyer Beware Summary: 2 Stars
I ordered this pretty much for the updated "II" version of this memory disk. Shipped to my house and I open it up to see that I got the first version memory card. So in other words I got the Sandisk Ultra 16gb SDHC and not the newest version Sandisk Ultra "II" 16gb SDHC card. II was rated faster than the I. Haven't used it much in burst mode or Videos yet so can't say if it will be fast enough but just be aware that product may not be what is as advertised. Oh and I purchased mine from Beach Camera.
Digital camera Review: Delighted Summary: 5 Stars
I received the card way ahead of the projected delivery date. Because of this, I was able to use it for a trip to the San Diego Zoo that had been planned in advance. The card, and the new camera I purchased it for, performed wonderfully.
A number of my SDHC cards are SanDisk and have continued to perform well. I am sure this one will do the same.
Delighted is the word I would use for how I felt when my card arived so quickly.
Digital camera Review: Didn't work for recording video Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this card to use with a Kodak Playsport video camera. After recording about 30 seconds of video, the playback became extremely choppy and eventually froze. I ended up returning and buying a different brand that has worked great. Might have just been a defective card, as I have had decent luck in the past with SanDisk products.
Digital camera Review: Does what it's designed to do Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this card for my Nikon D90 before a week-long vacation. I wanted a card large enough for hundreds of images as well as HD video. It certainly held hundreds (actually thousands) of high-quality images as well as HD video (I still had space for several hundred more images by the end of the trip, without ever once having to offload the images)... its read and write speed are lightning fast... it's a joy to use this SD card. Great price as well.
Digital camera Review: Does what it's supposed to Summary: 4 Stars
It does what it's supposed to. Fast enough for my Nikon D700, fast enough for my GoPro film camera and good transfer speeds from the read/writer too. It certainly doesn't have the speed of a class 8 or 6 for that matter, but it gets the job done and they're reliable. I now have two of them. Panasonic and Kingston both make good SD cards too, if you want options.
