Digital camera Review: Poor product from sansa - I guess its for 1-2 year olds.

I got this mp3 player 3-4 months back. The flashing light is not only annoying but also distracts you. I used this player to listen music before sleeping, the flashing light is horribly bright, They could have used that to save the battery. The sound quality is ok... there is some problem in mp3 sound repoduction, if I connect this player to my Bose speakers the output is not usual. I cannot hear it on my other speakers too. The Battery life is pathetic they say 10 hours, my fully charged energizer battery lasted only 31/2 hours and that too the sound was low. I think this is a fun mp3 player for kids (1-2) year olds to put some baby music on.
Not happy at all. There are lot better mp3 players out there for [...] bucks.

I thought this would be a fun item for my four-year-old. However, we had problems! First of all, the shaker did not work (which was the whole gimmick), it is not rechargeable, and the volume and song dial are difficult; if you turn the dial just a little too much (very sensitive) you remove the top where the memory card goes. Unit worked OK until the first battery finally got low.
Upon battery replacement, I noticed an error signal (drum up, then drum down )occured every time I tried to power it up--the Sansa 1G SD
card had lost all data. Had to reformat and reload my songs back on the
card--then it worked OK.
The bottom cover can easily fall off if not installed
just right--poor design there.
Loved the little speaker on top though--that's pretty cool.
