The Class 6 speed is required for my HD camera and seems to be achieved. What is most important to me is reliability. I don't like losing an hour of video or a bunch of still shots from a vacation.
Since the digital camera age came upon us about 12 years ago I've used several memory card brands, with well more than half being Sandisk in spite of their price usually being above the others. Somewhere early on I got the impression that Sandisk products are more reliable and my experience suggests that. I've had three card failures among non Sandisk brands and have yet to have a Sandisk card fail. I've got some old 4, 16, 64, 128, and 256 MB Sandisk cards that aren't good for much due to their small capacity, but they are all still working.
I do backup my video and still images as soon as possible, but like not having to worry about the card failing before I get that done.

Sandisk are the best memory card maker out there bar none - they hold all the patents and the highest quality products. At this price I was worried this would not be a real Sandisk product, (there's a lot of counterfeits about) but it IS the real deal, at least from this supplier.
good write speed, near identical to my Sandisk 4Gb SDHC, but not as fast as Extreme IV Compact Flash cards for serious pro camera users. Am ordering a 16Gb Transcend now, (different supplier) to see how that compares in write performance, though I expect it to be a good step down on this.
