Digital camera Review: Does what it's supposed to do

Bought this reader to replace an old one that died on me, and I'm quite satisfied with it. On my Mac (a PowerBook G4), it mounts quickly and files transfer quite fast in comparison to some other products I've used in the past. Don't be silly like me and insert a Memory Stick Duo (Pro or otherwise) in it without an adapter--it works, but it's very difficult to get the card out again! Before child, I went to the store with the picture station and did my picture work on it -- to save my printer ink?!? We looked at buying this the same time we bought our Cannon s2 powershot, but decided that it wasn't necessary and why spend another $20 on something we didn' need?. Boy were we wrong.

After child, I ordered this reader and voila! I have pictures to email to grandmas in seconds. I can fill a picture album in a much shorter amount of time, and for less money than the picture station, and it is soo easy.
Our machine works great, I leave the reader plugged in and insert my sd- pictures transfer in a second, video in a few seconds. We love it and now I know why my digital camera is better than my SLR, my advantix and my 35mm. Instant pictures of my son, sent out the same day to the people who can't hold him daily is priceless, luckily the device that makes it possible has a price that is amazingly low for great service it provides.

I bought this transfer devise to upload my photos to my iBook G4. I love using this because it is so simple to do. There is no complex software, I just plug it in to my USB port and it downloads my photos to iPhoto with one button click. One great feature is that it gives me the option of deleting my disk as it transfers the photos. Another great feature is there is no need for batteries as it uses the computer as a power source. I have had no problems with this devise and am very satisfied. It is very small and lightweight and easy to carry with your laptop.
