My laptop is working great, I just wanted it to run faster, and using this ultra 4 gig card did the trick. I don't 'game' but do use heavy-usage software for my art - this has prevented software crashes - and am very pleased! I would highly recommend this for those needing a little boost to their laptop! This card is super fast with my Nikon d40 and can hold well over 1k pictures at 6 megapixels. i was going to get the extreme 3 2gb version, but in the end decided that having more memory was better. it's solid sandisk quality and plenty fast enough for any dslr. although you may want to get the extreme 3 version if working with video cameras.
