Digital camera Review: Sangean DT-210 Battery Only & Does Have 90-minute Timer

I was delighted to find that the DT-210 has the feature of a 90-minute auto cut-off, which is a feature on my old DT-200. This was not, to my knowledge, mentioned in the 210 specifications text.
I was not delighted to find it was battery operated only. Amazon lists a Sony AC Power Adapter as a suggested accompanying product. Therefore, I assumed it would work with the Sangean DT-210 and ordered the adaptor. There is no jack on the radio in which to plug an AC adaptor.

Well, I have had this radio for over 3 years and it has held up well. But, then again, I don't work in a construction site environment. I use it at home and the office. Yes the sound is better through the headphones, but the speaker is good for background. I mostly use this for am talk radio and I am satisfied with the quality of sound and the build.
However, a few weeks ago I dropped this radio on the floor and it hit the power button on it's way down. This broke the micro-switch under the power button cover from the main circuit board. I opened up the case and found the micro-switch. Very small, but I was able to carefully solder the tiny switch to the circuit board. I assembled it back together and it works great. Most of you should not try this at home unless you are familiar with electronics as there are no user serviceable parts inside (HA!).
Yes, I would recommend this radio and would buy another one if it was lost or stolen.

This radio is a solid performer on both AM and FM, delivering both good sensitivity and selectivity. Its small speaker is a good performer. I purchased it primarily for listening to AM sports broadcasts while walking. It tunes easily with the manual up/down pushbuttons. The memory tuning by comparison is rather awkward. Late night talk radio reception up to 1000 miles is also quite effective. All in all a fine radio I'm proud to own.Digital camera Review: Very Good

Went to the Nebraska Okalhoma football game with ear pieces and had it on medium I heard the radio boradcast perfectly for the first time in 40 years.
