Simply the best shower radio and worth every penny I paid for it.
Simple and intuitive layout. Pre-programming favorite stations and setting the clock is a snap. Not sure I'll use the torch-light or alarm thing (what's that about??).
The sound is very good, radio reception is strong, and the unit's construction is solid. I think it will last a very long time.
Wish list: 1) HD receiver (AM & FM only is so 20th century!) 2) Atomic clock setting like some of the other Sangean radios sport. Put these two features in and ditch the alarm and light... I'll pay extra for those things.
In any case, I highly recommend this nice radio. Nice work, Sangean!

Am/fm Digital Shower Radio
I have had many shower radios---all inferior to this one. It is quality thoughout. Love the tuning, the sound, and most of all the reception. We now can receive our favorite station in the shower. Impossible with the other shower radios. It is a 10 for sure!!!! Love it.

I like this radio a lot. The sound is good and it's ruggedly built. It has a good sized display and the digital tuner is awesome. I live in Oregon and will use this radio outside as well.
We had a Sony ICF-S79V before. It worked well but all of the buttons on the top broke through. The Sangean is about $20 more, but I think it will last longer.
I'm happy with this purchase.

This is not only the best shower radio we have ever owned, it's the best radio of any kind! We spent the extra money for this one because of its good reviews, in hope of pulling in the stations we like, and it really delivers. Our previous shower radios could only receive one or two stations, as we have several "dead spots" in our home. The Sangean lets us choose ALL available stations with ease, and does it all over the house! We frequently carry it to other rooms to listen to our favorite shows, and may buy a second one, because the sound quality is better than our more expensive receivers. A great product!
