I bought this radio to use on my 13' whaler because it's waterproof. It worked perfectly and it definitely proved to be waterproof (saltwater). After selling the boat, I put the radio in the shower and it works awesome. The most amazing thing about the radio is the battery life. It seems like the batteries never die. I had a Sony shower radio for three years prior to buying this radio and the difference in sound and quality is impressive. I had numerous problems with the Sony, which I think were caused by the seal not being good enough. The only drawback to this radio is that it is quite a bit bigger and therefore it takes up a whole shelf in the shower.Digital camera Review: Best Shower Radio
