This is an item I had been searching for as a new TV on our kitchen divider counter was very difficult to turn from the kitchen to eating area. This product is perfect! I bought this for my 94 year old mother-in-law who is in a nursing home. With limited private space she was not able to place the TV where she could see it from both the bed and a wheelchair. I should of ordered this product a few years ago and eliminated the hassle of turning our 13" tv on our kitchen counter without a tv turntable. With the Sanus tv turntable it makes turning the tv a breeze. We can view the tv at any angle without any problems. You barely have to touch the tv to turn it. I purchased a 22" television for my office which had to fit into a space under a hutch. I wanted to view the tv from different locations within the office and had to manually turn the tv as it did not have a swivel base. I searched local retailers for a swivel base but was unable to find one. I located the turntable on Amazon and found that even with the additional height I had a whopping 1/4" space between the the tv and the hutch. Coudn't be happier.
