Worked great out of the box. Now I can swivel the TV easily when I want to change the viewing angle. I was a little concerned by the rating for a 27" TV, but it works great with my 40" LCD TV because the pedestal for my TV is only 26" wide. Product has worked well. It was easy to assemble, but I wish that I had purchased the attachment for the DVR!
