Digital camera reviews of Sanus VMPL50B VisionMount Tilting Mount For 30"- 56" Displays - BlackDigital camera Review: A Class Wall Mount Summary: 4 Stars
Very use to use and install. The construction is solid and assembly was cake. Very happy with my selection!
Digital camera Review: A Good One Summary: 5 Stars
So easy to install. Great price. Does not add a lot of weight the back of the TV like some other wall mounts. Literally drops on top the guide rails, adjusts very easily. Locks into place easily. Comes with everything by a screwdriver. Don't pay more unless you need one that swings out from the wall.
Digital camera Review: A Very Robust Mount - Good Value Summary: 5 Stars
This mount was just the ticket for attaching my VIZIO 55" LCD TV to the wall. The instructions are in about every language in the world and possibly the universe. The illustrations were really all that were needed to accomplish the task. All the hardware that you could possible need were included as well. Great product at half the price of the same thing at Best Buy. I highly recommend the Sanus mount over any of the others I have seen.
One caution, don't mount your screen too high especially if you sit close to it.
Digital camera Review: A perfect TV wall mount - my first ever Summary: 5 Stars
This wall mount is perfect. We mounted our 50" Panasonic plasma TV on the wall with it. Packaged perfectly and there are a bazzilion extra bolts and spacers to accomodate just about any TV. Measure, measure, that is the tip of the day! Installation was flawless, total actual install time was about 15 minutes. It took me quite a while to measure perfectly, find the studs, etc. But, man, once it is up, it is perfect. I actually did it by myself, which I would not recommend, but I was able to lift my 75 pound TV into place while my wife guided me onto the bracket. I think the tilt feature is a must have My 5 year old daughter even understood the whole process of how the bracket works - so it is pretty straightforward - just measure! Our TV is 19' away from our bed with the top of the TV at about 6.5'. So we have it tilted down just slightly towards the bed. Also, unless you have a recessed cable box, there is just not enough clearance for the cabling with a slim mount. So, you have to judge for yourself how far you want or need the TV to be. The tilt feature, which I did not really care for, has proved to be a real serious usable feature of this wall mount. The TV itself is solid on the wall with zero deflection if you touch it - very, very solid. I even hung onto the wall bracket (I'm 163 pounds) and it held me just fine! This is my first wall bracket, and I suspect more in the future, and I will definitely buy this wall mount again, without doubt. Oh, and much much better than the flimsy garbage they sell at Walmart and 1/3 the price of Worst Buy. Amazon Prime rocks, hands down my best shopping venue.
Digital camera Review: A terriffic TV wall mount bracket Summary: 5 Stars
I can't recommend this wall mount highly enough. It's extremely well made, very easy to install with the enclosed hardware, and very inexpensive compared to comparable models. The tilt feature is great-- once the TV is mounted, the unit is so well balanced that you can tilt the TV up or down to any position and it stays in that position without even tightening the knob that holds it in place. Very convenient. I highly recommend getting a tilting bracket, since tilting the screen up or down just a little can eliminate light reflections that are otherwise bothersome.
Do your homework; compare this unit to others out there, and you will buy this one.
