Purchased this mount for my father who just purchased a 52" Sony LCD. He was looking at them at local stores so I checked Amazon and saved him a ton. We installed the mount and had the TV hanging on the wall in less than 20mins. The extensive hardware that comes with the mount had the correct fasteners for the Sony. I weigh 250+lbs and I did a chin up on the mount after it was lag bolted to the wood studs - no worry of your TV coming crashing down. The tilt is silky smooth. I HIGHLY recommend this mount.

This mount is excellent. The high quality design and easy of installation, due to more tons of included mounting hardware, really make for a great experience. Not to mention, our 40" Toshiba HDTV looks fabulous mounted on the wall with the wires concealed, as compared to sitting on our coffee table. This is a great buy and substantially cheaper than other retailers or if you buy it directly from a TV Installation Representative. We're psyched with our purchase! Very easy to mount. This is my second one. Very impressed with this mount so I bought another one for the bedroom.
4 stars on parts only because with my LED tv you can't use the spacers because none of the many bolts included are the right length. The spacers aren't necessary to use but make access to the back of the tv a little easier.
Overall this is an excellent mount.

I just bought the fam a new Sony KDL-46V2500 46" Bravia V-Series 1080p LCD HDTV for Christmas. I had plans on mounting it on the wall but didn't want to pay someone $300 (not including parts) to come and mount it on the wall for me. So I did some research and Sanus came up as the best flat panel mount out there. So, I ordered it...
It came with all the parts you need to mount on any kind of surface. I was mounting mine on over the fireplace which is a brick wall. So, all I needed to buy was a 1/2" masonry drill bit and drill holes in the mortar.
Only thing that I did not like is that it did not come with the right size screws for screwing the brace to the tv. I had to run over to Lowe's to pick up some longer screws to fit the tv.
In all, this is the absolute best mount out there for your HDTV.
