Digital camera reviews of Sanyo 2,700 mAh AA NiMH Rechargeable Batteries (4-Pack)Digital camera Review: Great Batteries Summary: 5 StarsBetween these and the Powerex batteries I cannot tell the difference. Both are problem the best rechargeables on the market. Last long retain charge well when not in use.

Digital camera Review: Joe shmo Summary: 4 StarsGreat service from the vendor. The batteries were received in just a couple of days. Superb processing and shipping orders. As for the batteries I can honestly say I haven't shot many pictures since then. Supposidly the most powerful (mah 2,700( for a rechargeable. I guess I'll find out when I start shooting again. That probably wasn't the smartest move I've ever made! Oh well
Digital camera Review: simply the best. Summary: 5 StarsThese are by far the best rechargeable NiMH batteries I have. I use them mainly for my guitar effects board and they run at least twice as long as any of my other NiMH batteries.
Digital camera Review: Truthful advertising Summary: 5 StarsThese cells state a 2700mah capacity. But since cell capacities are frequently overstated for competitive reasons, one should always measure the effective capacity in your application. In my application, I expect a 400ma constant current drain. So I charged 4 cells and then discharged them at 400ma and recorded the capacities. They were quite uniform, which alone speaks to the quality of the cells, and had an average capacity of 2450mah. Yes, that's less than the 2700mah rating, but that rating is usually a 10 hour discharge rating. That is, at 270ma constant drain, the cells will take 10 hours to reach terminal voltage. So 2450mah at a 6 hour discharge rate tells me that Sanyo is justified in claiming 2700mah capacity. And there are lots of cells out there for which this is not true (like SunPak).
