Digital camera reviews of Sanyo 277265 Eneloop Power Pack with Battery Charger, 8 AA & 2 AAA Batteries Plus 4 C & 4 D Size Adapter (CostCo Kit #2)

Digital camera Review: Excellent Product
Summary: 5 Stars

We have almost entirely gone over to these batteries. Haven't used the "C" and "D" shells yet though so don't know how well they work. Neat idea though.

Digital camera Review: Fantastic batteries..
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought the silver and orange Sony rechargeable batteries and charger from Amazon for my Fuji A350 last year, but never could depend on them. Even after sitting and charging overnight I never could take more than 12 to 18 pictures before the batteries died. And, after two days or so, just sitting and not being used at all, they died completely. I even bought a new Sony charger, but that didn't change anything.

I burned up many standard AA alkaline batteries while owning over $65.00 worth of rechargeable crap that didn't work.

I bought my wife a Canon Powershot S5 IS camera for her birthday last September, along with the Canon Battery and Charger Kit (CBK4-300), and several lenses. But even those batteries were not reliable, and my wife takes a lot of pictures and video. So, I came across the reviews on the Sanyo Eneloop Power Pack and Charger Kit, and purchased that in mid-October of last year.

Tonight, for the first time, I had to put four new, unused Sanyo Eneloop batteries into her camera while I'm charging the first four that went into her camera almost three months, 500+ pictures, and about two hours worth of video ago. Fantastic, amazing, incredible, etc....Pick your choice of words. They really work, and keep on working after all other rechargeable batteries that I've tried fail miserably.

Digital camera Review: Finally, Rechargeable Batteries That Has Shelf Life Close to Alkalines
Summary: 5 Stars

The biggest drawback for Nickel Metal Hydride batteries is the shelf life. I got gadgets and toys all around the house, so I constantly charging batteries to have them ready when I need them. There will be very little juice left if you put them in the shelf unused for a couple of months. A waste of time and energy. Hence, one of the biggest advancement in battery technology is the arrival of the new low discharge Nickel Metal Hydride batteries. This is another great step in helping the environment. I have very few left of the old batteries since I started to replace all of them with low discharge batteries. Eneloops and Duracell are 2 of the best of its kind.

Pros:
-Low discharge.
-Fine quality product. Well constructed
-Conventional size and dimension. I had other batteries that I have to use a screwdriver to remove from my camera because it is fatter than other "AA's".
-Included "D" & "C" spacers are really useful.
-Regular charger included (You can also use your existing NiMh charger for these batteries)

Cons:
-More expensive than ordinary NiMh
-Not available at many stores
-Maxes at around 2000-2100 mAh

Digital camera Review: First experience with rechargeable batteries, not disappointed at all!
Summary: 5 Stars

This is my first experience with rechargeable AA/AAA batteries, and I am definitely not disappointed with my choice. I researched for quite a while before making a purchase and finally decided on this kit. I did not want to spend a fortune, but I wanted a good/decent charger and a good number of batteries. This kit fit those requirements perfectly. This is a good value for all you receive with it.

I just purchased a new digital camera and it uses regular AA batteries, instead of a battery pack -- another first for me. Between the new camera and my Wiimote's, I knew it was time to finally buy rechargeable batteries. After reading that most rechargeable batteries end up losing their charge as they sit unused in devices, and that these batteries by Sanyo were much better in that regard -- I was sold. My camera use and Wiimote use can be very sporadic, and I did not want to find myself in a situation where if a device sat unused for a long period of time, I'd turn it on only to find dead batteries. Sanyo has this covered!
