I own and used several sets of Eneloop AAA & AA's for over a year now. Other than a higher initial cost (true of any rechargeable sets), they beat ALL alkalines by a wide margin. They last way longer than any alkaline, and will recharge hundreds of times. As mentioned before, the Eneloops hold a charge for a LONG time when stored. By any measure, they outperform alkalines as well as any other brand of rechargeables. Highly recommended!!!Digital camera Review: We own 84 of these batteries and think they are great!

Our business requires AA batteries in cameras used day after day. This product is wonderful and we have replaced all AA batteries for business and home use with the eneloops. Recharging is fast and is required much less frequently than out dated old fashioned conventional rechargeable batteries. We have found in the past that traditional rechargeable batties have blown up our rechargers and lose the recharge very quickly. Eneloops have sat in our car, charged, for weeks and the charge remains great and we have not lost a recharger yet. We started using them about a year ago and we wouldn't take a conventional system if it we given to us for free. Thanks for the great product. Love the internet for finding good products. Bless the companies that fulfill their orders in a straightforward and honorable manner. Although a little difficult to obtain for an amateur shopper, the result was good and the product as advertised. I actually screwed up and ordered the AAA when I actually wanted the AA. Amazon refunded my purchase price without me having to return the batteries. That blessed me with the ability to order and receive the correct batteries. Thanks for great customer service! These batteries came charged. I have used them in a digital camera and taken over 300 photos without charging them. The camera shows no sign of the batteries getting weak. I use these batteries for wii and tv remotes, flashlights, and digital cameras. The charger is easy to use. Battery life is good, although if you use a flash heavily on a camera bring a spare set of batteries. The batteries do seem to hold a charge fine when not in use. I don't plan on buying disposable batteries ever again in aa and aaa sizes.
