I've heard a lot of positive opinions about those batteries so when it came to ordering some for myself, I decided to go with eneloop. I've had them for a month now and I am yet to charge them - my digital camera is still going on two of those, right out of the box. I use these with my Canon SX100 IS camera. I can typically use the camera pretty much all day on one set of two Eneloops, then swap to the second set as needed.
These are 2000maH batteries and, just as advertised, they hold their charge a very long time.
The charger has a nifty sliding cover and can charge 2 or 4 at the same time. It has a green LED that turns off when fully charged (a couple of hours). The charger also has folding power prongs so it is compact enough for travel.
I would recommend these as a superior alternative to the NiCad batteries and chargers sold at a higher price by the camera manufacturers.
I've used these for more than a year now and they keep going and going.....

The eneloop come charged and they hold the charge for a very long time if not in use! In addition to this they have obviously a very favourable discharge curve, that's why they give really a lot of shots.
