Digital camera Review: Absolutely no comparison!

Compared to other NiMH's there is... well... there is no comparison! These batteries run circles around my other rechargeables. I have a Cannon A710 IS which uses two AA's and using the Eneloops I have never gone a day having to change the batteries. Not so with my other batteries. These eneloop batteries kept their charge a very little time after putting them in the cameras, even though they were supposed to be pre-charged. I then charged them up carefully and completely with the eneloop charger.
I had taken very few shots when the low battery display came up in the viewfinder, and I had a picture I wanted to take but didn't get.
These batteries last less time than the lower rated rechargeable batteries I was using in two different cameras. There may be some technological explanation for this, but I just want batteries that work.
We're now using Lithium Energizer batteries.

I decided to request some of the AA Eneloop batteries with the charger for Christmas two years ago. I have been using them since and have purchased additional packages to swap out all my old batteries. They are great for all electronics, but I do use and replace them the most in my Wii controllers and wireless mouse since they are the most used. I have not noticed any of the individual batteries loosing charge yet, even though they have had so much use. I purchased 12 of these about a year ago. I have previously used powerex and nexcell NiMH in two cameras. If I left the camera sitting for a few months, the batteries would be dead. These Eneloops are amazing, for over 9 months, every time I pick up a camera it works just fine.
Previously I would keep batteries in the charger at all times, because I had to. I don't need to do that any more.
I am very impressed and have discarded all my old batteries.
I have no idea why some of the older reviews mentioned bad or defective batteries. Perhaps there was a problem that has now been solved.
