I've been using Eneloops in my digital cameras, GPS units, flashlights, remotes, cordless telephones, and wireless mice for several years now. The best feature of the Eneloops is the long "shelf life" of the charged batteries - I keep an extra set in my camera case, and even if I haven't used them for several months, I can rely on them when I need them. Same goes for flashlights, and they seem to last forever in my wireless mice. In my cordless phones, they last far longer than the standard rechargeables that came with the phones.
I haven't noticed any "memory effect" in batteries that I've recharged without fully discharging first, and Eneloops that I've been using for 3.5 years still perform like new.
When I shop for digital equipment I tend to buy only equipment that uses standard AA or AAA batteries and these Eneloops provide an easily interchangeable and reasonably priced alternative to the proprietary batteries provided with some equipment.

These batteries live up to their reputation. I orginally bought them to use in my mp3 player and these Eneloop batteries have lasted longer in one sitting than other regular non-rechargable batteries that you can buy at any store. Sanyo eneloops are the best! I have a pair of Sony rechargeables and they only last a day or two in the kitchen drawer. These eneloops have lasted MONTHS in the drawer without needing a recharge. They last a long
time in a device as well. Money well spent!
