Digital camera reviews of Sanyo VPC-FH1A Full HD Video and 8 MP Digital Photos (Black)Digital camera Review: A Decent HD Camcorder Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this camcorder because I saw good review of it, no doubt, I like the HD video taken with this device, good indoor light sensitivity campared to JVC's in the same price range. I replayed the video on my 1080p TV, the HD video was good, even though it was not as good as the 1080i TV channels, but I am satisfied given the affordable price of this toy. The only complain that I have is on the digital camera side that once I selected the photo mode, I cannot zoom any more and I have to go back to the video mode to zoom, but the view on video is different from photo and I have to repeat the process until I like the picture view. Overall this is the best device I tried (at Fry's and Best Buy) in the $250-$350 range camcorder.
Digital camera Review: A few problems, but I like it Summary: 4 Stars
I purchased this a little while back, and finally got a chance to put it to use over the holidays. I took it to Disney World and it did a great job. I used it on Big Thunder Mountain, and even though it felt like the camera was being shaken really hard, the video came out smooth. It did great on the low light areas inside the ride as well. I also used it to film the opening of presents on Christmas morning, and everything looked and sounded great. The battery life did just fine, and I love dealing with SD cards instead of tapes.
I agree, it does seem to miss a little time if you run it continuously, but I found most of the time there was nothing going on exciting during that time anyway. It makes me take better video, because I shoot shorter, more important video, rather than shooting continuous boring clips.
Digital camera Review: A great camcorder for the price Summary: 5 Stars
We bought the camera for a Historical Society. It is being used primarily in relatively low light conditions. The results have been great. It is very easy to use. The still photos are good. I like the SD card for holding content. We bought a 16GB card that holds more movies and photos than we need. Take the card out and download directly to the computer. That way we don't have to use cables etc and can use our own software.
Its on my wish list for one of my own.
Digital camera Review: A great little camera Summary: 5 Stars
I am amazed at the quality of the images this little camera takes. It literally fits in the palm of your hand. The audio quality is decent. Sometimes it has a hard time focusing on far away objects when you're zoomed in, but it eventually clears. I bought this to record my wedding ceremony outdoors and was very happy with the results. For the money, I doubt you can get something better.
Digital camera Review: Affordable and fairly simplistic HD Video/Still picture camera! Summary: 4 Stars
Pros: Easy to use right out of the box with the quick start instructions and well positioned buttons for shooting stills and video in HD quality.
Battery life actually appears to be better than what is claimed.
Has an actual "Flash" for low light pics....almost impossible to find at this price!
Old or new camera users should be able to navigate the basic features.
Cons: Hard to figure out how to use some of the features in the "sales pitch videos" on here at Amazon.com!
No "easy upload to the web" feature some cameras have.
