I use these cleaning discs as desposable solutions to keeping a drive in good shape. The brushes are flimsy and fragial, and wear out in about four months, then I toss the disc, buy a new one, and am left with a free jewel case. The directions aren't real clear, hense three stars rather than four, but the price is right, and when you toss them in with large orders, you can't beat it.Digital camera Review: Good but not great

I got this because I was trying to make backup Cd's for my computer. My computer made 3 out of 8 CD's before it gave me an error. After using this I was able to complete the back ups but I had to run this several times and every time in between discs. I got the task done but it didn't seem to fix the entire problem. My Philips DVD player was having trouble reading some all-region DVDs and I thought maybe I should clean my lens. I purchased this cleaner and voila! the DVDs played. I've used the same cleaning disc for at least four years on my DVD players, my computer CD/DVD drives, and my car DVD players and it's given me great value for the minimal purchase price. Before you send anything back for repair or throw it out, try one of these.
