Digital camera Review: Works under water, but camera is SLOW

We took a trip to Hawaii, and I wanted to take underwater shots. I looked for a housing for my current digital camera but it was nearly $1,000 by itself. So I decided to buy the Sea-Sea Camera/housing combo.
The housing is really great, and it works well, as it is built specifically for the camera. All the functions have button on the housing for full underwater functionality. However, the camera itself is extremely slow in taking pictures. There was about a 1 to 2 second delay from the time you click to the time it actually took a picture.
Try taking good pictures of moving fish in the ocean when there is a 2 second delay in the click response. You'll find it completely frustrating.
Except for that issue, which is a BIG issue for me, everything else worked well. If you are able to pose the fish, and have them sit and smile for you for a few seconds while you wait for the picture to click, you'll be fine. ;-)
BTW, even if you "pre-click" (half-way hold down the shoot button to focus, there is still a substantial delay.
If the response was faster, I would have given this product a 5, but because I couldn't get good shots of moray eels speeding away without holding them by the tail, I have to rate this product a 2.
