Digital camera Review: 'Bare Drive' Means No Parts
Summary: 4 Stars
I'm probably not the first one to do this, so I'll pass it on. Apparently a 'bare drive' is a drive with no parts, and not just a 'clean drive.' IE, it's an OEM drive, and there are no SATA cables, no screws, no SATA power converter cables, no manual, no factory provided hard drive tools for cloning, etc. I was a little surprised. I was able to get around what I assumed would have been provided, but I'm sure there are many customers who wouldn't have had the extra parts around.
So, fair warning.
